But My Life Is Worth Nothing To me Unless I Use It For Finishing The Works Assigned Me By The Lord Jesus
Have Your Way In Me
ACTS 20:24
“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
”Acts 20:24 NKJV

Our lives can feel like a failure unless we are getting a lot out of it; recognition, nice home, expensive car, money, success, status. But Paul considered his life worthless unless he used it for serving God.
It seems like what he put into life was by far more important than what he got out of it. But the truth is, he put aside his temporary life and invested into his eternal future and as a result, brought thousands and thousands of people to Christ and finished his race in victory.
Unless you use your life to fulfil the assignments God has given you, you will never be whole and complete, yet our own cravings and desires can so easily take us of God's path. The grass may seem greener on the other side of the fence, but if it's not yours it's taste will be bitter.
What is more important to you, what you get from life, or what you put into it?
Paul was a single minded person, a quality needed by anyone who wishes to serve God and do His work. Paul's most important goal in life was to tell others about Christ Jesus (PHILIPPIANS 3:7-13).
We believers are called to serve, not according to our own goals and ideas, but according to Christ purposes for us individually.
Maybe your calling is a difficult one, it may not even seem biblical or make sense. It may seem dangerous and may well take you to a place you really don’t want to go. Maybe it doesn’t fit with your personal ideals and plans, and may even bring with it persecution, but Christ died for you, is it not time to live for Him? Is it such a big ask when you focus on the reward? Besides, Jesus knows you far better than you know yourself, and what will make you whole, complete, and fulfilled.
My beloved, walking in the opposite direction may well place you in the belly of a giant fish, only to be spat out to hear the words, “now go to the place I sent you and deliver the message I gave you (JONAH 1-2).
Our purpose is to walk out God’s plans and purposes in our lives and we should be focused on that one great task God has given us to do.
This life is nothing more than temporary and the things of this world are soon to pass away.
“Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Matthew 16:24-26 NKJV
When we consider what is happening in this world today, the corruption, sexual immorality, manufactured pestilence, forced medications, restrictions, crashing economies, dictatorship, terrorism, wars and so much more, we can see that this world cannot continue much longer as it is-very soon Jesus is to return to bring His final judgment.
He said, before He returns, the Good News about the Kingdom of God will be preached throughout the whole world then the end will come (MATHEW 24:14).
We Spirit filled believers are the disciples of today (disciplined followers of Jesus Christ), and just like the disciples back then, it is our mission today to tell the world about Jesus Christ.
No one knows the exact hour Jesus is to return, but it won't happen until we have finished our mission of sharing the Good News to everyone throughout the whole world, giving each and every last person the opportunity of salvation.
However, it is very clear that our mission is all but complete. So my question is, are you ready!
Have you really committed your life to Christ?
If not, make that decision today.
Being nice will not get anyone through the gates of heaven, nor will good deeds, nor money, or any other person or god or religious act. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
It is only by faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved-it is too late for good deeds and righteousness because we are all sinners and deserve the penalty that comes with it.
But by the grace of God, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Romans 10:9-10 NKJV
So many times I have heard the congregations in worship, including me, shouting, "have your way in me" and "send me" but when it comes to it, many run the other way.
Today, if you haven’t already, completely give yourself to Christ Jesus, come to Him in repentance, settle all your differences here on earth through forgiveness so that your Father can forgive you (MATHEW 6:14-15), and submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Carry out the task He has given, gifted, and empowered you to do. Don’t put off until tomorrow that what you can do today, for tomorrow may well be too late.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please like and share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
God bless you all.
