He Who Hears My Word & Believes In Me Has Everlasting Life

1 TIMOTHY 2:5-6
“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,
”‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭2:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬

Though some people think there are many ways to God, the truth is in practice, we must each choose a single way.
We can stand on one side of a gorge and discuss the possibility of many bridges across the abyss, but if we are determined to cross, we will have to commit to one bridge.
Those who insist that there are many bridges to God usually fall into the following categories: They haven't committed to any "bridge."
They are surprised that their belief in “many ways”,does not exempt them from having to choose one.
Their belief in "many ways to God" hides their true belief that finding God doesn't really matter at all-they are convinced that arguing for "many ways to God" will insure that they won't be wrong.
If there is one way, their generalised belief will presumably have included it.
They have decided that believing in "many ways to God" requires less work than taking the trouble of considering the claims of various religious systems.
The fact remains, we humans have been separated from God by sin and we need a Saviour, a way back across the abyss to God.
Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This emphasises the certainty of salvation for believers, highlighting that eternal life is a present reality, not just a future hope.
The words “Has eternal life" indicates a present possession, not a future possibility that starts in the very moment one believes.
He who “Hears My word and believes Him who sent Me" means that the condition of Salvation is “accepting Jesus' message and trusting the Father who sent him, demonstrating the unity between the Father and the Son.
Only one person, our God and Mediator, Jesus Christ, can stand between us and God and bridge the gap.
Only Jesus Christ can bring us back to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
As written in today’s Scripture, “there is one “God and one Mediator” between God and man.” This is another confirmation of the deity of Jesus Christ. He is both, fully God and fully man (see also PHILIPPIANS 2:5-7) and it is He alone who can bridge the gap between you and God.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, as is written, there is no other way to our Father in heaven; there is no other person or object or angel or god that can bridge the gap.
No amount of money or good deeds can purchase your salvation, for we have all sinned.
But Jesus did do just that. He purchased your eternal future with His own blood.
This is the Good News of Christ; “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
He is the coming judge who shall decide your eternal.
Jesus message for today is exactly as He said before:
“”But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:36-44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My brethren, the question is, are you ready for Christ return.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
