Our Future Is Sealed

PSALM 46:1-3

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The fear of mountains or even cities crashing down and being washed away by the sea as a result of earth quake or other extreme circumstances, like nuclear war, or other threats that seriously threaten our way of life today are very real.

But God is telling us through the writer of this psalm, that even if the world was to end today, we need not fear.

He is in control and we who believe have an eternal future of peace, contentment, and continuous happiness with God (REVELATION 21:3-4).

I encourage you, God is our refuge and our strength, our very present help in the face of trouble, that includes the battles we face today individually and nationwide, and the deaths and suffering it brings.

The things of today are temporary and the best is yet to come, and even in death we have the overwhelming victory through Christ.

Sudden death has become a harsh reality in today’s world, but I encourage you, that the promise of salvation is not only for all Spirit filled believers, but their children too, and as many of your loved ones that the Lord chooses to call (ACTS 2:39).

God may of cut your loved one’s days short, but for good reason, for if He didn’t cut those days short, even His elite would be deceived and no flesh would be saved (MATHEW 24:22).

Rejoice my beloved, for they jumped the queue and made it home.

They suffer no more, and today they are in paradise with Jesus (LUKE 23:43), and the day is coming when we will be reunited with our loved ones.

I encourage you, God is in control, and even in the face of all the corruption and lies of today’s world, God causes all things to work together for those who love God and are called according to His purposes (ROMANS 8:28), even if it doesn’t seem like it at the time.

Fear is a major weapon of the devil and is the very opposite of faith, like hot is the opposite of cold.

Fear is the food of anxiety/ depression and other health issues. But “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Therefore, if you are over fearful of the things of this world, it is likely that a spirit of fear is living within you; he didn’t come from God, though God allows these demons as a consequence of sin in the hope that one may be brought to repentance.

James said, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”

‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved, when Jesus “had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭14‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬

My beloved, many are victim to unclean spirits and demons; they are like squatters that live within the flesh and influence the way we think, respond, and behave.

They bring temptations and torment with their manipulative lying whispers.

Their purpose is to steal and to kill and to destroy; they want to hinder or stop you operating in your ministry and pull you away from God, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it more abundantly JOHN 10:10).

They will try to separate you from your congregation by bringing fear and depression through negative thoughts and circumstance.

When we fall into sin, we open the door and let them in, even when we are not aware of our sin.

Furthermore, many have entered through the sins of our ancestors before we were even born (ROMANS 5:12; LAMENTATIONS 5:7).

These demons bring fear, all kinds of curses such as poverty and broken relationships, addiction, lust, anger, thoughts of sexual immorality, nightmares, insomnia and other sleep disorders, and all kinds of health issues.

But they are subject to us Spirit filled believers in Jesus name, and we have authority to cast them out (LUKE 10:17), though sometimes that is through prayer and fasting.

If you are struggling in life, doing what you know is wrong, or failing to do what you ought (see ROMANS 7:13-25) or it seems like you life is cursed, or struggle with any of the above, you may need deliverance and need to ask for help from believers operating in the deliverance ministry.

Romans 7:13-25 shows that even Paul needed deliverance, so don’t think you are excluded.

I encourage you, “He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Furthermore, God is our refuge even in the midst of total destruction, He is more than a temporary retreat, He is our eternal refuge and will provide the strength we need in all circumstances.

“Our God is calling us out today with this message: “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
