I Praise You Because I Am Fearfully And Wonderfully Made
You Can Chose To Love Yourself because God Chose To Love You
PSALM 139:13-15
“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.”
Psalms 139:13-15 NKJV

God’s character goes into the creation of every person. He formed each and every wonderful part of us in our mother’s womb, and we were all fearfully and wonderfully made.
Every one of us made with individual fingerprints, DNA, looks, character, gifting, both spiritual and physical, with true and wonderful purpose by the Almighty God who, despite our faults and failures, loves every single one of us beyond measure.
Yes, people come into the world with sickness and disabilities, and death reigned and life is cut short, but that isn’t God’s failures, that is all of the devil, for sinful man allowed him to.
“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 5:12-21 NKJV
Jesus Himself said, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
John 15:13 NKJV
Jesus gave Himself on a cross to pay for the debt of sin, and on the third day He was risen into resurrection life.
He said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.””
John 3:16-21 NKJV
Nothing can be hidden from Him; He is God, the One that knows everything; He sees our every thought and knows all that has happened and all that is to happen. Indeed, He knows everything there is to know. “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
Hebrews 4:13 NKJV
The truth is, God knows so much that it is impossible for us to overstate His ultimate knowledge, power, and abilities.
God knows our thoughts, our motives, and our deeds; and like Adam and Eve, we fear the exposure of our sin.
Despite this, their is every reason to rejoice in the truth that He knows us that well.
He loves each and every one of us regardless of our sinful lives. He knows the very worst of us, yet He still wants to save us.
It is of no importance of how others see us, it is how God see’s us that counts.
Hidden sin, gives the devil a hold on your life, it restricts the ability to serve, steals our peace, Joy, and our freedoms.
“Therefore, Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
James 5:16 NKJV
The truth is, God knows your inner most secrets, your past and your future wrongs; He knows your faults, failures, and your weaknesses, yet He has chosen you to join Him in His Kingdom for all eternity, and nothing can stop that except you.
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (ROMANS 8:38-39).
I encourage you, in those times when you are feeling useless or worthless, or you begin to hate yourself, remember that God who made all the delicate inner parts of your body and knit you together in your mother’s womb, has sent His Holy Spirit who is ready and willing to work within you and with you through every situation you face.
Furthermore, He wants to restore, reshape, and heal you, and is ready and willing to do a good work within you to transform you by the renewing of your mind that you come to understand that what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God (ROMANS 12:1-2). And I, “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;”
Philippians 1:6 NKJV
Surely, we should have as much respect for ourselves as God our creator has for us.
Furthermore, He sees “you,” not in just in your present state, but also, in your future perfection when His wonderful work within you is finally finished on the day Christ Jesus returns (PHILIPPIANS 1:6).
The devil is quick to remind us of our sinful past, our faults and failures, but when he does, remind him of his dark future.
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 NKJV
My beloved you can choose to love yourself because despite all your faults and failures, God chose to love you.
You can choose to like yourself, because God who sees all things, chose to like you.
Furthermore, because of what Christ has done, regardless of noise of this world, our trials and challenges, we believers have already won the race; the victory is ours through Christ Jesus (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
