Isaiah starts by voicing “You are my God,” a statement of submission, Putting the Lord above all others.
“I exhalt You,” my God the highest,” I praise Your name because Your counsels (plans) of old (from the beginning) are a picture of faithfulness and true.”
Isaiah honored and praised God to glorify Him because he realised that God completes all His plans as promised; plans that He made from the very beginning and shall come to pass in His perfect timing.
Plans of salvation for all who believe in Jesus Christ (ROMANS 10:8-13).
Nothing can stop Gods plans; He has no rival nor equal, and He shall forever.
There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel-that will stand (PROVERBS 19:21).
Regardless of human plans, man cannot change the outcome of God’s plans; it is His counsel (His will) that will always stand.
God will complete His plans as promised; God Himself will be with His people; He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away (REVELATION 21:3-4).
Now that is a promise!!! A future of confident hope for!!! And that time is fast approaching.
God cannot lie; He completes all His plans as promised. Furthermore, He is faithful to fulfil His individual promises to all people.
I encourage you; whatever your struggle, and by the way He never promised a pain free life ; pain free is a future promise. But He does promise to make a way for you and to provide all your needs (MATHEW 6:33; PHILIPPIANS 4:19).
God goes before you to make a way and then is with you through it all (DEUTERONOMY 31:8).
But however, He does not take away your free will, therefore you are free to do it your own way if you so wish, but will suffer the consequences (JAMES 1:5-8). Truly, truly, I tell you that when you put your trust in God and do your best, He will do the rest, and you shall remain in peace.
Furthermore, you can be certain, however things turn out, it is for your long-term good, for He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28).
My brethren, He sees the whole picture, not part, and He is using your troubles for good; to build and strengthen you like an athlete in training. We all know that with no pain, there’s no gain.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
He is doing a good work within you; that you will be ready when Christ returns; “And I am certain that God who started a good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns (PHILIPPINES 1:6).”
However impossible your situation, God wants and will help you; if you invite Him in; I assure you, your impossible situation will become possible with God (MATHEW 19:26; LUKE 18:27); for you can do all things through Christ who is your strength (PHILIPPINES 4:13).
My brethren, rather than focusing on what we don’t have, we should take the time I look back at our answered prayers and give thanks and praise to God for the every He has done, particularly His finished work on a cross, and His faithfulness and truth.
Nothing is either too big nor too small for our incredible, all powerful, Almighty God.
Their is nothing in this world that God cannot deal with; no financial issue, nor health issues, nor sin, not even death itself has a hold on God’s people, because Jesus defeated death and the stone was rolled away (MARK 16:1-7; MATHEW 28:1-7).
“”O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15:55-58‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:4-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, give praise to our awesome God; speak out the words of Isaiah for He alone is worthy of all praise:
“O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. For You have made a city a ruin, A fortified city a ruin, A palace of foreigners to be a city no more; It will never be rebuilt. Therefore the strong people will glorify You; The city of the terrible nations will fear You. For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. You will reduce the noise of aliens, As heat in a dry place; As heat in the shadow of a cloud, The song of the terrible ones will be diminished. And in this mountain The Lord of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” For on this mountain the hand of the Lord will rest, And Moab shall be trampled down under Him, As straw is trampled down for the refuse heap. And He will spread out His hands in their midst As a swimmer reaches out to swim, And He will bring down their pride Together with the trickery of their hands. The fortress of the high fort of your walls He will bring down, lay low, And bring to the ground, down to the dust.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25‬:‭1‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
