If Anyone Acknowledges That Jesus Is The Son Of God, God Lives In Them And They In God
Not I, But Christ In Me
1 JOHN 4:12-16
“No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

V
When we commit to God and become a true disciplined believer of Christ, we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit who lives in us (JOHN 14:15-17; ACTS 2:38).
He gives us the desire to do His will, and empowers us to do it (PHILIPPIANS 2:13). Furthermore, He empowers us to love each other because God loved us first (v 16-19).
Love in itself is a weapon of mass destruction against the enemy and covers a multitude of sins (1 PETER 4:8). Gods love is selfless and unconditional and asks for nothing back in return.
It is His love that empowers forgiveness and radiates from believers to shine for Christ. Furthermore, it empowers them to care for others, not seeking their own, but the profit of many (1 CORINTHIANS 10:31-33).
God’s loving presence in our life is proof that we belong to Him; that He lives in us, and us in Him.
When saved, God’s Spirit joins with our spirit, for “he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”
I Corinthians 6:17 NKJV
The Holy Spirit joins one’s spirit and he is saved. "Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
Romans 8:12-17 NKJV
From within, the Holy Spirit convicts change, teaches and leads us in His righteousness, “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:13 NKJV
He literally manifest Himself to do good His works through His faithful believers, for “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly/ heart will flow rivers of living water.””
John 7:38 NKJV
My beloved, it is no longer I, but Christ in me that does it (GALATIANS 2:20).
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:26-29 NKJV
Having said that, the Holy Spirit Cannot manifest through sin. The lust of the flesh must be put to death, “For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”
Galatians 5:17-18 NKJV
Therefore, put away all offence, lust, and selfishness, and submit to the Lord.
As James tells us, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:7-10 NKJV
To be a believer, not only must one believe Jesus is God, but also, that He is the Son of God who came in human form to save the world.
Salvation cannot come from holy living or good works, for it is too late for that, for all have sinned.
But rather, our eternal future comes from faith alone, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (ROMANS 10:9).
By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Anti-Christ, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 JOHN 4:3-4).
Indeed, the same power that created the heavens and the earth, and the very same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you, empowering you to overcome every trial, every challenge, every addiction, every sin, and fulfil the will of God for you, however impossible that may seem.
Furthermore, as a disciplined believers of Christ, you have authority over even the demons (LUKE 10:17).
My brethren, the time has come for us to walk in the authority and power that Jesus Christ has given us; “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
Matthew 10:7-8 NKJV
The truth is, nothing is too big or insignificant for God; therefore you can do all things through Christ who is your strength (PHILIPPIANS 4:13).
My beloved, even the impossible, for what is impossible for humans, is possible with God (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26).
Therefore, humble yourselves before God and be obedient to Him, for that is the least you can do; and do not be conformed to this world, but rather, transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you come to understand what is that good and acceptable and the perfect will of God (ROMANS 12:1-2).
My beloved, He paid a high price for you on a cross, Indeed, for all humanity, for “He wants no one to perish, but for all to turn to Him in repentance (2 PETER 3:9).”
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.”
I Corinthians 10:31-33 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
