Do Not Worry About Your Life
Deliverance is Key
Mathew 6:25
“”Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?”
Matthew 6:25 NKJV

Worry is another word for anxiety which means fear; fear of lack of provision, fear of an outcome of a situation, and very often fear of something that is never going to happen.
Jesus tells us not to fear because it is damaging to our health; it disrupts productivity; it has negative affects on the way one treats others; and reduces one’s ability to trust God. Furthermore, our spoken negativity brings curses upon our lives and others.
Just ad joy is infectious, negativity is too.
Today, in the midst of the current economic turmoil, mortgages and rents have increased as has energy costs, while income hasn’t really increased at all; many people are worried about their jobs and businesses, and how to meet their financial commitments and put food on the table for their families.
Furthermore, wars and threats of wars hang over us, and the stresses of life continue to pile up.
As a result, anxiety/ depression, mental breakdown and even suicidal thoughts has become a real problem in many peoples lives.
Indeed, since the days of lockdown, there has been a massive increase anxiety/ depression, mental health issues and suicides worldwide.
The bible tells us some 365 times, “do not fear.”
Fear is the opposite of faith, like hot is the opposite of cold; but with a mustard seed of faith, there is no fear, nor anxiety, and depression cannot survive in you because fear is the very food of depression.
Furthermore, with that mustard seed of faith, those mountains in your life can be moved away (MATHEW 17:21).
Fear, like any sin, opens the door to the demonic; and gives way to them to enter in.
These unclean spirits and demons, if allowed, will make your lives a misery; they come only to steal, kill, and destroy (JOHN 10:10).
They are the source of most of your problems, such as break down of relationships, poverty, poor health and anxiety/ depression and suicidal thoughts.
Once in, they will manipulate your decisions from within your very soul, your mind, will, and emotions, and you will find yourself in total confusion doing and believing what is wrong and not doing what you ought (see ROMANS 7:13-25).
The Good News is, these demons are subject to all Spirit filled believers in Jesus name, and we can cast them out (LUKE 10:17).
James tells us, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 NKJV
To resist the devil is rebuke him and call him out; to command him to come out in Jesus name, and he shall flee from you.
To submit to the Lord, is to repent of all sin and submit to God plans, purposes, and instructions; to walk in the Spirit, rather than by the lust of the flesh (GALATIANS 5:16-26).
Therefore, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:8-10 NKJV
Maybe you are struggling with night mares, anxiety/ depression, suicidal thoughts, ongoing sickness, dependency, confusion, insomnia or are struggling with repetitive sin, and such things as these, if so, it’s likely you are demonised and are in need of deliverance.
These demons are very real and are happy to take up residence in your body.
Like squatters, they will not leave until evicted and while self-deliverance is possible, you are likely to need help from a ministry operating in deliverance.
My beloved, prevention is always better than cure, though many people are born demonised through the sins of their ancestors, for “Our fathers sinned and are no more, But we bear their iniquities.”
Lamentations 5:7 NKJV
These are generational curses and must be broken that we can be set free.
My beloved, even Paul with all knowledge and understanding needed deliverance.
He found himself repetitively committing sin and failing to do what he ought.
He said, “I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.”
Romans 7:15-23 NLT
Do these words relate to you? Do you find yourself doing what is wrong, and procrastinating over the things you should do?
Are you a slave to sin?
My beloved, there is hope, for Paul, continued, saying, “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.”
Romans 7:24-25 NKJV
Only Jesus can deliver you from the evil one and set you free.
He said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
John 8:34-36 NKJV
My beloved, fear is the opposite of faith with without it is impossible to please God (HEBREWS 11:6).
Therefore, put aside of all fear and repent of it, for fear is one of the most powerful weapons the devil has in his hands.
Though the season may be dark, stand on the promises of God, for He is faithful to provide all our needs and by His stripes we are healed (ISAIAH 53:5).
All we need do is believe and walk in that truth.
Jesus said, “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:26-34 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
