I Believe
JOHN 11:25-27
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.””

Jesus has power over life and death, as well as the power to forgive us of our sins. This is because He is the Creator of life itself; He is the only way to our Father in heaven (see 14:6).
He who is life, who created life, can surely restore life. Whoever believes in Christ has a wonderful future that death cannot conquer or diminish in any way.
When we realise His power and how truly wonderful His offer of salvation is to us, how can we not commit our lives to Him?
To us that believe on Him, we have absolute assurance and certainty of salvation, eternal life in paradise with our Father in heaven (REVELATION 21:3-4).
Martha is best known for being too busy to sit down and talk with Jesus (LUKE 10:38-42), but here she showed herself as a woman of deep faith.
Her statement of faith is the exact response Jesus wants from each and every one of us.
My beloved, this promise of life, though one might die to this world, will never die, and is extended to one’s children and loved ones, as many as the Lord chooses to call (ACTS 2:38-39).
Regardless of what happens in this temporary life, the best is yet to come, all one needs to do is believe and receive.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
