Give Your Bodies To God Because Of All He Has Done For You
Let Them Be A Holy Living Sacrifice
ROMANS 12:1-2
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Here, Paul tells to give our whole life to God as an act of worship, refusing to copy the bad habits of the world, and letting God change the way you think so you can know His good plans.
Because God has been so kind and forgiving to people through Jesus, believers should want to give back to Him by the way of devotion, worship, and service. Not as a payment, but out of love for Christ and His people.
Unlike the Old Testament times when people gave dead animals at the altar, God wants you to give your living, everyday physical life to honor Him, for serving God with your daily choices is the most logical and right way to thank Him.
Furthermore, the verses point to the steps of wholeness and full understanding of your calling.
Present your body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God is the first step and since God ransomed you from death, this is the least you can do.
Step two, is to come out of the sinful things and systems of the world, its cultures, and sinful practices, and submit to God’s way of life. These two steps alone shall bring over time a transformation from the sinful character of man, to the Christ like nature of Jesus Christ. It is then that you shall come to understand what really is acceptable and perfect will of God in your life.
Do not let the selfish culture around you press you into its mold.
Let God completely overhaul your inner thoughts and attitudes and when your mind is changed, your responses to life challenges will bring peace and contentment in the most challenging of circumstance, and you will come to see what God’s plans and purposes are for your life, which may well be challenging, but always good, pleasing, and perfect.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
