Nothing In All Creation Will Ever Be Able To Seperate Us From The Love Of God
I Am A Child Of God
ROMANS 8:35-39
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Paul wrote these hypothetical words to a church that was soon to face horrific persecution.
In just a few years Paul’s words would turn into a painful reality.
Just like in Paul’s day, we believers today face many hardships; poverty, persecution, sickness , false allegations, imprisonment, and even death. These troubles lead many to think they have been abandoned by Christ.
However, these verses contain one of the most comforting, powerful messages, in all Scripture. That no matter what happens to us, no matter where we are or even slip back, nothing can separate us from God’s love.
Suffering should not push us away from God, but instead, help us to identify with Him and allow His unconditional love to heal and strengthen us.
Paul exclaims that it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death is absolute proof of His unconquerable love.
God reassures us how great His love is so that we will feel totally secure in His presence.
If we believe in these overwhelming promises and put our trust in Him, anxiety and fear will run from us, anxiety/depression cannot abide in us, and even death will lose its sting.
Sadly, we are all too often unable to apply these words to how we live on a day-to-day basis. Satan is an expert deceiver; he will always try to convince us that God’s love is less than it is, that we’re not good enough, or our sin is too great. But the truth is, no matter how much we mess up, no matter how many powerful forces come against us to damage our relationship with God, nothing can separate us from His great love.
He will always be there for us with His unfailing love.
My beloved, He is the One who leaves the ninety nine to find the one (MATHEW 18:12; LUKE 15:4).
Jesus said, ““What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.”
Matthew 18:12-14 NKJV
When the devil comes to put you down and remind you of your faults and failures, and your sinful past, focus on the fact that Jesus chose you from the ninety nine and rejoiced. Then you will be able to confidently remind yourself that you are a child of God, His special treasure (DEUTERONOMY 7:6), paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ, and then remind the devil of his ultimate future and send him packing.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
