Overwhelming Victory Is Ours Through Christ, Who Loved Us

The Holy Spirit Joins With Our Spirit

ROMANS 8:35-39
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
”‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:35-39‬ ‭NKJV‬

V

God never promised believers a trouble free life; in fact quite the opposite. James said, “when” we face troubles, not “if” we face troubles (JAMES 1:2).”
Therefore, we believers face hardship in many forms: persecution, health, wealth, imprisonment, and even death.
Furthermore, as each day passes, the trials and challenges brought upon the people in this world is getting more intense.
Today, we are facing more and more controls, rules, regulations, and restrictions that are being mandated by our world leaders.
The world’s financial systems are collapsing, businesses are closing, unemployment is growing, as is poverty, and our health care systems are collapsing. Lawlessness and terror is rising and we are facing the threat of world war.
As a result, we are experiencing divisions within the people of the world and the church as we head toward the great and awesome day of the Lord.
My beloved, it is encouraging to know that God never stops working, and thanks be to God that He is victorious in all things.
We give Him thanks that despite seeing thousands of churches closing all around the world, He is reestablishing His church according to His plans and purposes, not mans.
Mans old church is dead and quickly fading away, despite the man pleasing glossy performances that take the place of true heart felt worship.
Despite the prosperity preaching and false prophetic promises, the old is fading away and Christ’ apostolic church is here and growing.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Every believer is to operate within at least one of the five categories, not just the Pastor, apostles, and teachers.
Therefore, it is time to operate within the apostolic and experience the signs and wonders of Christ.
It may be difficult for vicars, pastors, and church leaders to stand aside and let go of their ministry and hand over to Christ, but it is time to allow Christ to build His church.
Therefore, hand the reigns to Him and walk by the leading of the Spirit (see GALATIANS 5:16-26).
The man pleasing flesh led projects are fruitless and pointless, and their is no place on Christ pedestal for Pastors and preachers, or ministers of any kind.
It is God’s glory, and while we can soak in His glory and be clothed in it, we cannot steal it (REVELATION 21:11-13).
Church can no longer operate as a man pleasing business; it is Christ church, and He alone is the head.
The body cannot operate by the leading of the flesh, it needs the head. We all need Jesus.
Our place within the church is not a career choice, it is a Spirit led calling.
Though at times it feels like we have been completely abandoned by Christ, these verses contain one of the most comforting promises throughout God’s word. That it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death is proof of His unconditional, unconquerable, selfless love. And through Christ, we believers, regardless of our failings, are more than conquerors through Christ, even in death, and that nothing can separate us from His love and His presence. He will not leave us orphans (JOHN 14:18).
But we have choices to walk in the Spirit or in the flesh. If one chooses his own way to satisfy the lust of his flesh, God will stand back and leave him to it until he submits to the Lord.
It is in those times that we feel abandoned and everything seems to go pear shaped.
But the truth is, when one receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, He joins with our Spirit and He shall never leave us (JOHN 14:15-18).
“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
When we walk in the Spirit, He manifests Himself to do good works through our flesh, and out from the belly/ heart shall flow living waters (7:38), “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
When we believers go our own way, which is sinful, or fall back into sin, the Spirit retreats from our flesh and remains silent within our spirit, working within to bring conviction to change, and continues until repentance is complete.
It feels like we have been abandoned by God, like we are in the wilderness, but He never breaks His promises even when we fall into sin. He never leaves us and rather condemn, He convicts repentance from within.
Therefore, sin opens doors to the demonic to enter through the flesh and one becomes demonised/ possessed.
Many say one cannot be possessed because possession is ownership and the devil owns no one.
But actually, possession is not ownership.
If someone steals one’s car, he has possession, but when caught, is removed and the vehicle is given back to its rightful owner.
Is your body nothing more than a vehicle to operate from on this physical world?
Therefore, “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, thank God for Jesus Christ, for whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered (JEOL 2:32).
James said, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, submit to God, repent and sin no more, resist the devil and call him out, for he is subject to us believers in Jesus name (LUKE 10:17), and he will flee from you.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Once free, the Spirit shall continue to lead you in His righteousness to do good works by the Spirit.
My beloved, life can be challenging; But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
God is working and regardless of the damage that is being done by our corrupt world and church leaders, Christ is preparing us for these last days.
Therefore, repent, “Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. The Lord will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations. “But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.” Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things! Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭18‬-‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, Jesus way is the only way to the victory.
He is the way, the truth, and the life, the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfils the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
