Meeting Jesus In The Clouds

PHILIPPIANS 1:9-11
“And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
”‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:9-11‬ ‭NKJV‬

Paul’s prayer for the Philippians was that they would become unified in the love of God.
Their love of Christ would result in a deeper understanding of Christ and gain in moral discernment.
Their love was not based on feelings, but on what Christ had done for them.
Today, we must ask God to give us moral discernment so that we can maintain our Christian morals and values.
His prayer asked God to give them the ability to differentiate between right and wrong, good and evil, vital and trivial.
So many people today justify sin to suit themselves; abortion, homosexuality, and all sorts of other sin. As Christians, we cannot continue to live sinful lives, but must, by the help and leading of the holy Spirit, be willing to change.
Jesus died to free us from the power of sin and death, not so that we can justify sin and continue to live in it.
We must ask God to give us those abilities that we can differentiate between right and wrong, good and evil, vital and trivial.
Philippians 1:1–11 focuses on Christian partnership, joy in ministry, and the growth of love through spiritual discernment.
Paul thanks the church for their support, expressing confidence that God will complete the good work He started in them.
The Scripture urges His body of people to love and to grow with knowledge, producing righteous character.
Paul emphasizes the "partnership" (or fellowship), in spreading the good news, which all believers are called to do their part, which includes both ministry collaboration and financial support.
Paul expresses confidence that God, who began a good work in the Philippians, will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
That message is a message to every believer wherever they are in the world today.
Our growth and transformation is an on going process that will continue until the day the Lord Jesus Christ returns.
Jesus said m, it is then, ““Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭29‬-‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God will gather His elect, those still alive in Christ at that time from the four corners of the earth, and all the those in Christ who had passed, from one end of heaven to the other, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We Spirit filled believers shall at this time, all meet Jesus in the clouds of this world, not in heaven, pre-raptured, but immediately after the tribulation of those days ( MATHEW 24:29), which is the first resurrection (REVELATION 20:5), and we shall meet Jesus in the air and be changed, which will take us into the millennium reign for a thousand years, and we should continue to remind each other of these comforting words in these last days of tribulation.
“For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.”
‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We believers will meet Jesus in the air, but not before the dead in Christ, those who sleep, in a pre-tribulation rapture, but together with the dead in Christ, for this is the first resurrection.
But those in Christ, like the thief next to Jesus on the cross, are taken up into paradise when they pass from this world, to be with Christ (LUKE 23:43).
They are the dead in Christ, and this could be seen as a kind of harvest or even pre-tribulation rapture into paradise as many theologians talk about.
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭51‬-‭52‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
It is then John vision of the millennium reign of Jesus Christ shall come to pass.
“Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please like and share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
God bless you all.
