Whoever Claims To Live In Him Must Live As Jesus Did
Deliverance Is Key To A Changed Life
1 JOHN 2:6
“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

To walk as Jesus walked, does not mean pick twelve disciples, perform miracles and then be crucified on a cross.
To walk as Christ did, we must take on the very nature of Christ, live righteous lives in obedience to God’s word and the leading of the Spirit within, in loving service to Him and His people through the five fold ministry of Christ (EPHESIANS 4:11).
It is then that the supernatural signs and wonders of God will manifest throughout the church.
We will see healing and deliverance that changes lives.
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him (v4-5).
God is faithful to forgive all sin, but that doesn’t mean we can go on living in it.
We must as individuals, not only say sorry for our sins, but must take responsibility for our behaviour and repent, being willing and making every effort to change.
Sin opens the door to the devil to make your body a home for his unclean spirits and demons.
Once in, they will target one’s soul, his mind, will, and emotions, to manipulate one’s behaviours and beliefs.
Furthermore, these demonic beings enter by the sin of our ancestors before one is even born, as well as through trauma, hurts and offence.
Through sin they are able to create ungodly soul ties which connect us spiritually to others, “Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”
I Corinthians 6:16-17 NKJV
Deliverance is key to a changed life, healing, and freedom to have peace, joy, and contentment in Christ.
The Good News is, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered (JEOL 2:32).
If you are caught up in repetitive sin, maybe pornography, addiction, or any other sinful act, ask God to help you overcome; He is faithful to help.
He will make a way for you and give you the strength to put those things that chain you to the devil behind you.
Only by the renewing of your mind can you take on the character of Christ and be transformed by the renewing of the mind (see ROMANS 12:2).
But I am convinced that God who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Jesus Christ returns (PHILIPPIANS 1:6).
Jesus said, “Most assuredly I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave to sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed ( JOHN 8:34-36).
Don’t be a slave to sin; don’t lose your place in God’s house for the sake of sinful acts that provide some short lived answers to a problem or temporary gratification of the flesh.
Ask Jesus for help. He is faithful to make a way for you. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus is the only way to the Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
Drive out those addictions, and put an end to the wild parties, the sexual immorality, the pornography, and all sin through repentance and deep inner healing and deliverance.
Submit to the Lord, resist the devil and Jesus will set you free (JAMES 4:7), for who the Son sets free is free indeed.
Resist those sinful thoughts, take them captive and bring them to the obedience of Christ (2 CORINTHIANS 10:5).
Are you caught up in repetitive sin, addiction, or does it feel like your life is cursed. Do you find yourself doing that what you hate, or not able to do what you ought as did Paul (ROMANS 7:13-25).
Is your life going round and round the same old poverty, broken relationships, anxiety/ depression, sickness, and hardships? Does your life feel like a life of torment?
If so, you are most likely in need of deep spiritual healing and deliverance.
You need to seek those operating in the deliverance ministry and be set free to live the life Jesus has for you, and have it more abundantly (JOHN 10:10).
The joy that comes from the world is short lived and always leads to disaster, but the joy that comes from Christ is everlasting and is your strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
Jesus wants to heal you from head to toe, your soul, spirit, and body.
But, “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:1-5 NKJV
My beloved, He did it for me, and He will do it for you, but you must believe.
For “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.”
Isaiah 53:6-12 NKJV
May Jesus Christ be the source of your peace, joy, and a confident hope of eternal life.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen!
