Call To Me And I Will Answer You, And I will Tell You Great And Hidden Things That You Have Not Known
Submit To Your Call
JEREMIAH 33:2-3
“”Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
”Jeremiah 33:2-3 NKJV

God assured Jeremiah that he had only to ask, and God would answer (see PSALM 145:18; ISAIAH 58:9; MATHEW 7:7).
God is ready and willing to help in any situation, but we must ask through prayer.
These verses of Jeremiah are a Devine invitation to prayer and a promise of revelation, assuring believers that an all-powerful Creator listens to their cries and stands ready to reveal His hidden plans.
By study, we can gain knowledge of God’s word, but understanding and revelation can only come from God.
God can certainly take care of all our needs without us asking (MATHEW 6:33), but by asking, we are acknowledging that He alone is God, our dependence on Him, and we cannot accomplish anything good in our own strength.
The truth is, God gave us humans dominion over all the fish in the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth (GENESIS 1:26). since He gave us that dominion, He would be breaking His own Laws by stepping in without being asked because the dominion He gave was unconditional.
Just like when leasing a vehicle, the manufacturer cannot legally stop you going in the direction you choose, even if the driver regularly breaks the law. They cannot take away one’s free will.
But when the lease expires, they will take the vehicle back.
When we ask God, we must humble ourselves, lay aside our wilfulness and worry, and be determined to trust and obey Him. “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
James 1:5-8 NKJV
For many of us, at times, it feels like God isn't taking us in the direction we want to go, or He isn't helping us at all. But by faith, we must trust Him and accept His direction and His solution, even when it feels unfair, unreasonable, or wrong, because He sees the whole picture, not in part, but the long-term outcome, and His plan is what counts.
The truth is, any direction other than God’s is sinful, and may place you in the belly of a giant fish (JONAH 1-2).
My beloved, He knows what is good for you and all people long-term; and the salvation of His people is His number one goal.
Whatever you are facing right now, God loves you, He won't leave you, and He wants to help.
Of course you need to do your part as led by the Holy Spirit, for faith without works is dead (JAMES 2:17).
Therefore, listen to the prompts of the Holy Spirit who lives in you, and obey, even when He puts on your heart to stand back from this problem and help someone else in need; simply trust and obey.
My beloved, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.”
Psalms 37:3-9 NKJV
Jeremiah 33:2-3 were delivered while Jeremiah was imprisoned in the royal palace. Jerusalem was under siege by Babylon, and the situation seemed hopeless, with destruction, famine, and exile appearing inevitable. Despite these circumstances, God speaks, demonstrating that physical limitations cannot block His message.
God establishes His credentials as the architect of the earth. If He created the world, He has the power to restore broken situations and will establish your credentials, set you free, and fix your broken situations when you submit to His plans and purposes for your life.
God is faithful and will renew the strength of those who wait on the Lord (ISAIAH 40:31).
Their is no problem or issue however great or small that cannot be overcome through Christ; for what is your impossible, is God's possible (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26); and providing you submit to God’s will and His direction when you need a miracle, you shall have one.
Using the covenant name Yahweh which is "The Lord", emphasises His unwavering faithfulness and sovereign commitment to His people.
Call to me" is an invitation and encouragement to pray and acknowledge dependency on God.
But God’s timing is perfected, not just for you, but to give opportunities to all people, for He wants no one to perish, but all would come to repentance (2 PETER 3:9).
The words "I will answer you" is a guarantee that God hears and responds, regardless of human limitations.
Furthermore, He promises to reveal "unsearchable" things—divine wisdom and secrets hidden from human understanding.
Call upon the name of the Lord and invite Him in to help you, even when your situation is your own doing, or is as a result of your own foolishness or sin.
Trust that His way is the right way. Pray, ask for help, and if necessary, ask others to pray for you too, for there is great power in prayer.
Jesus said, ““Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.””
Matthew 18:18-20 NKJV
My brethren, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:31-39 NKJV
However my brethren, ““No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
Matthew 6:24 NKJV
