The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, those who call upon Him in truth (PSALM 145:18).
God assured Jeremiah that He was near, and all he needed to do, was ask and God would answer him.
Just as He was near to Jeremiah, God is near to all who call upon His name today. He wants to lead and help you into the victory of eternal life; He wants you to be dependent on Him, that even your desires come from Him.
David gave us good advise, saying , “Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
In other words, trust God with your troubles, that He will send the help you need, and at the same time, reach out to those who need your help, especially those of the faith (GALATIANS 6:10).
The results are amazing, for as we believers reach out to one another, the love of Christ bonds us together and brings unity into the body of Christ (EPHESIANS 4:11-16).
However, we must walk with God in obedience to His Word by the leading of the Holy Spirit (GALATIANS 5:16-26).
Paul tells us, “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, God is faithful to provide all our needs and more. He said, ““Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬-‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I encourage you in these troubling days to call out to God, and He will answer you, He will show you great and mighty things. His Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and help you to do what is pleasing to Him (JOHN 14:15-18).
Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:12-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Whatever struggles, trials and challenge have come your way, whatever your needs, God has both the provision and the answer; He wants to help you.
My beloved, put your trust in Him and He will go before you to make way, and then He will be with you through it all (DEUTERONOMY 31:8), He makes your impossible situation, possible (MATHEW 19:26; LUKE 18:27), for you can do all things through Christ who is your strength (PHILIPPIANS 4:13).
You can choose your own way or you can choose Jesus way. The truth is when you choose Jesus way, you will be able to literally walk over the stormy waters in your life, and even when the noise get too loud and steals your focus and peace and you start to sink, you can be certain that Jesus is right there within arms reach to lift you out of the stormy waters and lead you back to safely and then calm the storm (MATHEW 14:22-33).
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (JOHN 14:6). Jesus way works; He made a way for you when He took your place on a cross. Furthermore, He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28).
That not some things, my beloved, but ALL things.
He is the truth; He does not lie or break any promises; He is the truth that sets us free from the curse of sin and death. For Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭34‬-‭36‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
He is the life; He joins His divine life to ours, both now and eternally; in truth, His word is the truth; He is the only way to be victorious today and the only way to the Father in heaven and our eternal future.
Life is not easy; God does not promise a trouble free life; James said, “when troubles come” not “if troubles come (JAMES 1:2)”. But the truth is, Jesus way works.
But to receive this amazing gift of life, one must apply Jesus spilled blood to their lives by believing on Him.
In view of the of severity of our sins, and we all have sinned, salvation appears impossible. “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But, no sin or situation is too great or indeed too small, for Jesus, for His spilled blood covered it all (ISAIAH 53).
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭8‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Therefore my beloved, as Peter said, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
