Do Not Store Up Treasures On Earth
Where Your Treasure Is, There Your Heart Will Be Also
MATHEW 6-19-21
““Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Here, Jesus teaches us that people should not focus on gathering temporary things on earth, but instead should invest in eternal things with God. He explains that earthly wealth fades away, while heavenly investments last forever, and that what people care about most will control their thoughts and desires.
Money, clothes, and property can rot, rust, or get stolen by thieves, but things of heaven, acts of love, kindness, and serving God cannot be destroyed or stolen.
Loving money or material goods leads to empty feelings because those items can only ever be temporary.
Whatever you spend your time, money, and energy on shows what you truly value.
Your inner feelings and desires will follow whatever you decide is most important in your life.
My beloved keep your focus on serving God in any which way He chooses, “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
