Even Though I Walk Through The Darkest Valley, I Will Fear No Evil
The Lord Is My Shepherd
PSALM 23:4
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

Death is our ultimate enemy, we can struggle our way through all kinds of troubles; injuries, pain, sickness, and such as these, but we cannot overcome death, it creeps up on us all and tries to have the final word.
Thank God for Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, who after paying our debt of sin on a cross, defeated death itself , when He was risen, and through His victory over death, we believers have a confident hope of eternal life.
Not a life of pain or struggle, for all these things shall pass away, but a wonderful life with God forever and ever, amen (REVELATION 21:3-4).
Just like David, we believers today face an ever growing struggle of troubles and persecution, even life threatening situations as we walk with God. But like David, we have no reason to fear, for we can put our trust in Him.
Fear is the opposite of faith like hot is the opposite of cold. Faith in Christ removes all fear, for He alone can walk us through death’s darkest valley and brings us safely to the other side.
We can be confident that in any situation at all, even in death, we are safe in His hands. So I have to ask, Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (ROMANS 8:33-39).
My beloved, Psalm 23 is one of the most encouraging Psalms in the Bible and it is well worth reading and speaking out over yourself as your prayer in the Spirit.
As a result, you shall receive, peace, joy, and contentment in Christ, as He prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.”
Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
