For God Is Not Unjust. He Will Not Forget How Hard You Have Worked For Him And How You Have Shown Your Love To Him By Caring For Other Believers As You Still Do
Make Jesus The Centre Of Your Life
HEBREWS 6:9-12
“But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
”Hebrews 6:9-12 NKJV

This Scripture shifts the tone from a stern warning about falling away (Hebrews 6:4-8) to a warm, encouraging pastoral reassurance for believers.
The writer addresses his audience as "beloved",a rare, tender term of endearment in this letter.
After warning them about the danger of spiritual barrenness, he expresses confidence that "better things" (fruit that genuinely accompanies true salvation) define their lives rather than apostasy.
God is characterised as not unjust; He does not forget the real, active love these believers have shown.
Their ongoing practical service and care for fellow Christians ("serving the saints") serve as visible evidence of a living, working faith.
Assurance is not passive; the writer urges every believer to show earnestness (diligence).
The goal is to realize the full assurance of hope—a confident, steady expectation in God's promises that lasts all the way to the end of life or Christ's return.
Believers are told not to be sluggish (lazy or spiritually dull). Therefore, be zealous for assembly, have enthusiasm to sing from our hearts and involve in the meetings, and stay to the end. Make time for daily prayer and study, and to get out into the streets and evangelise.
Jesus put it like this: “saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
Matthew 10:5-8 NKJV
Make Jesus the centre of your life because He is not unjust to forget your work and labour.
In other words, we are told to imitate those who inherit God's promises through a combination of faith and patience (such as Abraham, who is featured shortly after in the chapter).
And know this, your service is an investment into your eternal future and the blessings are piling up for you in heaven.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
