Jesus Paid It All

PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
”‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:5-11‬ ‭NKJV‬

Though Christ is God, He became a man in order to fulfill God's plan of salvation.
He came to start the work of building His church (MATHEW 16:18), to undo the works of the devil and crush his head (GENESIS 3:15), and then pay the debt of the sin of the world with His own blood.
Jesus Christ, ““Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭22‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Christ didn't just have the appearance of being a man, He became fully man and remaining God, He took the humble position of a slave.
My beloved, He is God in human form, and those who deny the Lordship of Christ Jesus are of the enemy (1 JOHN 2:22).
Jesus Christ voluntarily laid aside His devine rights and privileges as something to cling to and lived the life of a slave. He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminals death on a cross to pay the debt of sin.
He went through all that suffering for you, that you might not perish, but receive the gift of life (2 PETER 3:9).
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Christ blood paid the debt of the whole world, not just the sin of the people on it, and therefore fulfilled every religious requirement, action, sacrifice, and cleansed all foods making them clean to take in, regardless of man’s bar codes that all contain the number 666, and man’s demonic logos.
A simple blessing of thanksgiving is all that is necessary.
To carry on in religious practices, or refusing to eat certain foods on religious grounds is actually blasphemy of the Son, for that person is in denial that Christ paid it all.
God then glorified Christ because of His obedience, raising Him up to His original position at the Fathers right hand, where He will reign forever as our Lord and Saviour.
“And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
How can we do anything less than praise Jesus Christ our Lord and dedicate ourselves to His service?
My brethren, at the last judgement, even those who remain condemned will recognise Jesus Christ’ authority and right to rule.
Today, we all have a choice; that is to submit to God in repentance and live a wonderful productive joyful life forever in His presence, or to spend eternity in torment with the devil.
Either way, every knee shall bow at the name of Jesus.
One cannot expect to be saved without believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, Jesus spilled blood must be applied to one’s life through faith alone to receive the gift of life.
Furthermore, Jesus died a criminals death on a cross to pay the debt of sin, that we become free from power and become Christ like in our very nature.
“Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, we cannot have a mind of Christ and continue in sin, for Christ never sinned.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This transformation is a process that over time shall change the way one thinks, acts, and responds, having received a Christ like mind,, and with it comes understanding of what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God in his life.
One cannot buy, purchase, or earn salvation. nor shall anyone’s good deeds secure a place in God’s kingdom.
Just as our future sin, while it shall bring harsh consequences in this life, cannot steal one’s salvation (ROMANS 8:1-2), being “nice” cannot save you.
It is true that God’s grace is enough; we are all saved by grace, but grace cannot and does not overrule justice. If it did, there would of been no reason for Christ to die to pay the debt.
Life with Christ is a gift, but one must believe it to receive it. It is by faith alone that the spilled blood of Jesus Christ is applied to one’s life and he or she becomes saved.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:8-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
