I Am Sure What We Are Suffering Now Cannot Compare With The Glory That Will Be Shown To Us

ROMANS 8:28
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Here, Paul tells us that the temporary struggles and heartaches of this life are insignificant when weighed against the magnificent, eternal glory that God will reveal to believers in the future. It doesn't minimize earthly pain, but provides an eternal perspective to help us endure trials.
The apostle Paul acknowledges that Christians will face genuine hardships, grief, and physical decay in a broken world. But Paul uses an accounting/evaluative word (literally calculating or weighing) to show that the two realities aren't even in the same category. The weight of future joy makes earthly pain seem negligible.
The “Glory that will be revealed in us", refers to the ultimate transformation of believers when Christ returns. It encompasses receiving a resurrected, eternal body free from sin, sickness, and sorrow.

Verses 19–22, explains that all of nature has been subjected to decay and eagerly waits to be liberated from it.
In verses 23–25, Paul notes that believers "groan inwardly" as they wait for their final adoption and the redemption of their physical bodies.
Verse 18 directly precedes this, acting as an anchor of hope. It reminds believers that the Holy Spirit is a "deposit" or foretaste of this coming glory, giving them the strength to wait patiently through hardship.
These verses serves as a profound encouragement to endure trials. It shifts the focus away from temporary earthly circumstances and anchors it in the eternal hope of heaven.
