Love Is The Foundation Of Jesus Way Of Life

1 CORINTHIANS 13:4

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬

This verse defines biblical love (agape) as an active, selfless choice rather than a mere feeling. Written by the Apostle Paul, this verse contrasts self-centered behavior with outward kindness, showing that true love requires profound patience and the intentional setting aside of pride and jealousy.
Love exercises restraint and endures difficult situations or offenses without resentment or the urge to retaliate.
It is actively helpful, gentle, and benevolent, looking to benefit others even when it does not serve one's own interests.
It removes jealousy over what others possess and instead rejoices in their successes.
It abstains from self-promotion, arrogance, and drawing attention to one's own accomplishments.
It is humble, treating others with consistent dignity rather than a feeling of superiority.
Understanding these descriptors helps believers and anyone in relationships, shifting the focus away from what they feel they are "owed" and move toward active service and unselfish devotion.
Love is the foundation of Jesus way of life. He said, “”You shall love the LordLord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is thethe first and great commandment. And thethe second isis like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬-‭40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This refers to the entire body of Jewish scripture—the Torah (the first five books of the Old Testament containing God's laws) and the writings of the prophets.
“Hang on these two". Jesus used this phrase to mean that all the specific rules, regulations, and moral teachings in the scriptures take their meaning from these two principles. If you perfectly practice love for God and love for your fellow human, you fulfill the entire purpose of the law.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
