For Our Struggle Is Not Against Flesh And Blood
Deliverance Is Key To Change
EPHESIANS 6:12
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

When we look around the world, their is much evil going on, extreme weather patterns, man made pestilence, wars, threats of war, riots, violence, and looting, and our world financial systems are crashing as is our health systems.
Their are many theories of who and why these things are happening. But whatever the truth of all these things, their is a source of all evil lurking in the background, our real enemy who uses anything they can to bring devastation and death.
These are not “flesh and blood enemies,” but are evil spirits and demons over whom the devil has control.
These are not mere fantasies, they are very real as is the devil, and they are destroying people’s lives on a daily basis.
Their purpose, is to steal, and to kill, and destroy (JOHN 10:10), and they are good at it.
We believers face a powerful army whose goal is to destroy the church; that is God’s people and take us all to their coming destination, of eternal death.
Their time is fast running out and with anger they are doing as much damage as they possibly can (REVELATION 12:12).
Satan and his army are constantly battling against God’s people, and the truth is, we need God to defeat this viscous army.
Furthermore, the battle is within, for our physical bodies are a place of residence for these evil spirits and demons.
Sin gives them the ability to enter in and have great influence over our behaviours and decisions.
Like squatters, they take up residence in people’s bodies and manipulate people to do the devil’s work. Such people are “possessed or demonised” and need to be delivered from them.
Their lives will be in turmoil, maybe experiencing nightmares, insomnia, addiction, anxiety/ depression, suicidal thoughts and poor health; these demons fill people’s minds with lies that hold them in bondage.
Thank God for the Holy Spirit who God sent as a helper to His people; He will live in and abide with them forever, He is the Spirit of truth (JOHN 14:16-18).
He not only leads and helps us to live right, but also gives us empowers us to defeat the devil, and his evil schemes, and gives us the authority to cast these evil spirits out and set the captives free (LUKE 10:17).
James tells us, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 NKJV
These demons enter our bodies through sin, for when we commit sin, we come into agreement with the devil and the door is opened; they then make your flesh their home.
Like squatters, to get them out one must take them before the Judge and tick the boxes that takes away their authority to be there.
That is to submit to God in repentance, verbally rebuke them and command them out as Jesus did (MATHEW 8:16; 28-34; LUKE 11:14-23) and they shall flee from you.
My beloved, make no mistake, sin let’s the devil in, and like squatters, they will not leave until all the legal boxes are ticked. Furthermore, they enter in through the sins of our ancestors, even those we can’t possibly know about, bringing all kinds of generational curses that seriously affect our lives.
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (JOHN 10:10).
You don’t have to live a life of torment and distress, for Jesus came that you may live life abundantly.
It is a gift, but one must believe it to receive it.
