Make Me A Vessel

EPHESIANS 2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

This verse is telling us that believers are God's handcrafted masterpiece, remade through Jesus Christ to live a purposeful life of serving others according to His plans and purposes, not ours.
The Greek word used here is poiēma, which is where we get the English word "poem" or "masterpiece". You are not an accident; you are God’s carefully crafted work of art." created in Christ Jesus": This points to a spiritual rebirth. It’s not just a minor self-improvement, but an entirely new beginning when someone puts their faith in Jesus. This is a new life in Christ, a new direction and a new purpose.
It’s not always easy to accept God’s plans for you because it means letting go of the old, whether dreams, careers, people, relationships, or anything else that stands in the way of your calling. It means letting go of the old, and accepting and walking in the new by faith.

This verse serves as the conclusion to Paul's famous declaration of grace in Ephesians 2:8–9. Together, these verses outline the balance of the Christian faith, and you are saved by grace; it is a free gift that you cannot earn.
But grace does not override justice, if it did, Jesus would have had no reason to die for you. But He did, He paid a high price and justified your new life in Christ; all you need to do is apply His blood to your life and become His vessel for His good works (1 CORINTHIANS 6:19).
You are saved for a purpose, to actively do good in the world according to His plans and purposes in your life.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen
