Live A Life Worthy Of The Calling That You Have Received
Walk Worthy Of Your Call
EPHESIANS 4:1-6
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

These verses mark a major turning point in the letter. The Apostle Paul shifts from explaining what God has done for believers (doctrines of grace) to how believers must live out that faith. He pleads with Christians to live lives worthy of their calling by pursuing peace, practicing humble love, and guarding the spiritual unity already created by God.
Paul writes as a prisoner for Christ, adding weight and urgency to his plea.
He urges believers to walk (live their daily lives) in a way that matches the high honour of being called by God.
Humility is thinking less of oneself and dropping pride, and being mild and kind rather than harsh, enduring mistreatment or annoyance without lashing out.
We are called to forgive and accept each other's flaws, with an eagerness of peace, working hard to protect the harmony given by the Holy Spirit.
Paul anchors this call to unity on a powerful list of seven "ones" that define the Christian faith.
One body, “all believers form a single church.”
One Spirit, “the Holy Spirit lives in every believer.”
One hope, “the shared eternal future promised by God.”
One Lord-“Jesus Christ.”
One faith, “the core message of the gospel.”
One baptism, “the shared entry point into Christ's family.”
One God and Father, “the Creator who rules over all, works through all, and lives in all.”
The message today my beloved is to discipline ourselves and walk in a way that is worthy of our call.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
