For If We Have Been United With Him In A Death Like His, WE Will Certainly Also Be United With Him In A Resurrection Like His
Sealed With The Spirit Of Promise
“For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,”
Romans 6:5 NKJV

This verse tells us that believers share a deep spiritual connection with Jesus Christ. Because Jesus died and rose again, those who trust in him also share in that spiritual death to sin and the promise of new life.
Believers are joined together with Jesus through faith and relationship-His story becomes their story.
Just as Jesus died on the cross, a believer's old, sin-ruled life is considered ended, dead, or crucified.
Just as God raised Jesus from the dead, believers receive a new spiritual life, the become “born again “.
This change empowers them to live differently now by the leading of the Holy Spirit and guarantees a future eternal life.
if God's grace forgives sin, should people just keep sinning?
Paul says no. He explains that turning to Christ is like a death and a rebirth. Because sin's power was broken when a person "died" with Christ, they should no longer obey sin as a master.
Having said that, we humans are still going to make mistakes, some even deliberately, but Paul tells us, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:1-2 NKJV
Jesus blood paid the debt of our sins, past, present, and future, and “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:1-2 NKJV
The Holy Spirit, received through baptism (MATHEW 3:11-12), is key to salvation, for “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
Ephesians 1:13-14 NKJV
Therefore my beloved, as Paul told us, “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
I Corinthians 6:12-20 NKJV
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen
