Look To The Lord & His Strength; Seek His Face Always
Put The Storms Under Your Feet
1 CHRONICLES 16:11-16
“Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, O seed of Israel His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones! He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,

Here, the psalmist is telling us to keep focused on Christ; seek His strength in everything we do, in every trial and challenge we face.
Don’t look at the circumstance, keep focused on Christ, his powers and abilities, seek His face evermore, draw from His strength and your impossible situation becomes possible (MATHEW 19:26; LUKE 1:37).
The devil will always attack one’s soul, his mind, will, and emotions with the smallest of whispers of failure and despair to bring fear and confusion that your decisions and responses are from the flesh.
That is to walk in the flesh and shall not produce good fruits (GALATIANS 5:19-21).
Emotions were never meant as a tool of discernment or decision; therefore, listen to the Holy Spirit and walk in His leading (GALATIANS 5:16-26) and He will make a way for you.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
II Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
The Holy Spirit came to help you (JOHN 14:15-18), to lead you in all truth (JOHN 16:13-15), and produce good fruits (GALATIANS 5:22-23).
But to walk in the Spirit is a choice, for God does not take away one’s free will.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.”
Galatians 5:16-17 NKJV
My beloved, it is encouraging to know that “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
I Corinthians 10:13 NKJV
Therefore, focus on Christ and His marvellous works and His covenant forever. God can not lie, therefore stand on His promises.
Remember His commands and obey Him, proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes (1 CORINTHIANS 11:23-26).
Only when we remember His commands, can we obey Him; only when we remember His marvellous works and promises can we stand on them.
I encourage you, whatever situation you are facing, however impossible it seems, even if it’s your own foolishness that got you there.; God loves you, He wants to help you, and He will help you; but you must cooperate with Him.
Like Peter, whilst focused on Christ, you will be able to walk above the stormy waters you are facing, but if things get too much for you, Jesus will take your hand, lead to safety and calm the storm (MATHEW 14:22-33).
All you need do is seek His help, draw on His strength, and stand on His promises. God will make a way for you; your impossible is made possible through Christ who is your strength.(MATHEW 19:26; LUKE 18:27; PHILIPPIANS 4:13).
My beloved, when troubles come, we humans are quick to bury our heads in the sand, we run from them, hoping that they will go away.
But God didn’t give us a back plate for protection; He gave us a breast plate (ISAIAH 59:17; LEVICTICUS 8:8; EPHESIANS 6:14) to confront our situations.
Running from them may result in one being shot in the back by the fiery arrows of the devil.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
Ephesians 6:10-20 NKJV
My beloved, our battles are not with people, whether our health, wealth, or relationships, whatever challenges come our way, it is the devil and his demonic army that source our troubles.
But it is encouraging to know that we believers already have the victory in Christ. But to receive it, we must walk in truth and believe it.
It may not work out quite how you hoped, but God knows best, He sees the whole picture, not part, and His resolve is longterm.
Therefore, you can trust God, that He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28), and that includes your impossible situations that you are facing today.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
