Walk In The Spirit

ROMANS 8:6

“For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Romans 8:6 tells us that to focus our thoughts and desires on human nature leads to spiritual separation and death, while focusing on the things of the spiritual realms and the Holy Spirit brings true life and inner peace.

The flesh refers to a worldly mindset driven by selfish human desires, independence from God, and sin.

To be spiritually minded refers to the spiritual realms and the Holy Spirit and a lifestyle guided by God's truth and presence within.

Death means spiritual emptiness, broken fellowship with God, and ultimate ruin.

Life and Peace mean a vibrant, eternal connection with God (life) and a deep, calming harmony (shalom) amid our daily troubles (peace).

The verse highlights how your inner outlook shapes your daily reality. When you dwell on temporary, earthly obsessions, you separate yourself from God and feel empty and anxious. When you choose to align your thoughts with God's guidance, you experience stability and spiritual vitality.

Ask yourself, who is in control, you (your spirit ) or your flesh?

We all have a choice which we decide within our soul, our mind, will, and emotions, to walk by the leading of the Holy Spirit, or to satisfy the lust of the flesh.

“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.

Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
