God's Timing Brings About Change
1 PETER 5:6
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,”

Here, the apostle Peter tells us that believers should willingly submit to God’s sovereign control and let go of pride, trusting that He will provide comfort, help, and honour at the right time.
He is telling us to stop trying to control everything or rely only on our own strength, but instead, surrender your personal pride and plans to God.
It is time to recognise that God is all-powerful. His hand represents both His discipline during hard times and His protective care.
In due time, that’s in God’s perfect timing, for He works on His own schedule, not ours, relief or vindication will come. But it will arrive when it is supposed to because God is building and strengthening our patience to endure regardless.
He promises to honour, sustain, and exalt those who remain faithful and humble through suffering instead of lashing out or rebelling against their circumstance.
The verse connects directly to 1 Peter 5:7, which tells us to "cast all your care on him because he cares for you".
Humility is shown by turning worries over to God instead of panicking or acting out of pride.
We need to understand that God uses suffering to re-shape the we believers think and respond to the trials and challenges of life.
James put it like this, saying, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:2-4 NKJV
My beloved, how ever difficult your circumstance, how ever painful the trial, God is using it for your good (ROMANS 8:28), and in due time, He shall exalt you to higher places.
Therefore, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
