Here, Isaiah prophesied that "Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn." It means that God's presence and glory will shine so brightly on His people that the rest of a dark world will notice, drawing outsiders, leaders, and entire nations toward this divine hope. This is talking about a last revival as God reaches out to all peoples before His return.
Verses 1–2 set the stage by describing the world as covered in deep darkness. The light does not come from the people themselves, but from the glory of God rising upon them.
Historically a message of restoration to a returning, post-exilic Jerusalem, it prophesied a time when non-Israelite nations would turn away from their own spiritual darkness and seek God.
The Response of Kings, representing the highest worldly powers, authorities, and pride—are humbled and attracted not by military force, but by the sheer, unmistakable radiance of God’s blessing working through His people.
Christians view this light as ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ (the Light of the World), and the church or believers reflecting that light to draw all peoples into the Gospel.
My beloved, we heading toward the last revival as God exposes the darkness of this world and reaches out to all peoples of every nation and religion as we approach the return of Jesus Christ.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
