The Peace Of God Which Surpasses All Understanding Will Guard Your Hearts And Minds In Christ Jesus
Be Anxious For Nothing
PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
”Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

Here, Paul invites us to replace anxiety with prayer. It teaches that instead of worrying, you should bring your requests to God with a thankful heart. In return, God promises to guard your mind and heart with a deep, inexplicable peace.
Paul wrote this letter while under house arrest, facing extreme uncertainty. Instead of letting worry consume you, you are instructed to shift that energy into focused prayer and petition.
Prayer and supplication mean presenting your specific requests to God. However, the crucial element is thankfulness. Expressing gratitude reminds you of God's track record and shifts the focus away from your problems onto God's character.
God does not always change the difficult circumstance, but He changes your disposition toward it. The "peace that surpasses all understanding" means having a sense of calm that doesn't make logical sense when you consider the situation. This peace acts like a military guard, protecting your emotions (heart) and thoughts (mind) from being overtaken by panic or despair.
God’s Word tells us over 365 times, do not fear. Anxiety is another word for fear, and like hot is the opposite of cold, fear is the opposite of faith.
Therefore, take a mustard seed of faith and by the power of God, wash away all fear and watch the darkness flee (MATHEW 17:20).
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
