Disciplined Followers Of Christ

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬

Matthew 28:19, is part of the "Great Commission," and is Jesus' final command to His disciples to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It shifts the focus from a solely Jewish ministry to a global mission of evangelism, training, and baptism.
Rather than a command to just "go," the Greek phrase implies "as you are going, make teaching discipleship a part of one’s daily life.
A disciple is a follower who models their life after Jesus-a disciplined follower of Christ.
The words “Of all nations": tells us that our message is no longer restricted to Israel, but includes all ethnic groups and people wherever they are in the world.
Mathew 28:19, challenges Christians to move beyond passive belief and sharing the Good News, to commitment to actively train others in the faith.
The disciples as we believers today, were commanded to Baptise them", to take new believers through the process of making an everlasting covenant with God, that they take their place within the whole body of Christ to do their share. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We believers today, are commissioned to share the gospel with non-believers-to bring them to the faith, teaching new believers how to obey Jesus' commands (discipleship).
The ultimate mission is to go to different cultures whatever their past sin, faults, and failures, their past beliefs or country of origin, to spread the message of salvation, bringing them to the Lordship of Christ, and baptising them in the name of the Father, Son, and holy Spirit.
The process, led by the holy Spirit has successfully passed on the “Good News” from generation to generation, and shall continue until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please like and share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
