V
True humility begins with right attitude toward God; fear of the Lord and humility, together lead to riches and honor and life.
But riches does not necessarily mean financial riches-the blessings of being a child of God are by far greater than any amount of money, material blessings, or status.
Fear of the Lord, is respecting His Majesty, Authority, Power, abilities, and strength; His perfection, Holiness, Justice and Truth. It is Placing Him where He belongs, exalted above all.
It is respecting that He is above all, that He has no equal, no rival, and that His name is above every other name
Good relationship with God brings with it joy, honor, and peace of mind that cannot be taken away from you.
Life with Christ is eternal, unlike money, status, and material blessings, that can be lost or stolen at any time.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (JOHN 14:6). Jesus way is the only way to consistent peace, joy, and eternal life.
His way brings with it continuous stability, good relationship with one another, peace of mind and joy which is your strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
He goes before you through every storm preparing a way, and then He stands with you through it all (DEUTERONOMY 31:8).
Nothing is impossible for Him (MATHEW 19:26; MARK 10:27), not even the impossible situation that you are facing right now, indeed He has taken authority over even death itself.
He is the truth, He cannot lie or break even one of His promises, so you can trust Him implicitly.
He is the life, the resurrection life that defeated death, He is the only way to our Father in heaven.
There is no other-not Mary, Muhammad, your Pastor, or even the pope. No other religious organisation, or person or organisation can save you.
You cannot buy salvation, nor can you earn it. Only by faith in Christ Jesus can you be saved.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
Romans 10:8-13 NKJV
Their is no greater privilege than life in Christ!
It is a gift that not one of us deserves.
When someone gives you a gift, you don’t insult them by saying, “how much do I owe,” or by rejecting the gift. No, you say thank you and then reach out and take your gift.
Once in your hand, you unwrap it and receive it.
Jesus died that you might live, don’t insult Him by throwing back in His face.
He allowed His own blood to be painfully spilled for you, all you need do is apply it your life and you have life everlasting, along with consistent joy and peace, God’s peace that surpasses all understanding and guards our hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:7).
I tell you the truth, with Jesus’ peace, you are more than a millionaire.
Not only has Christ paid the highest price to save you, but He has sent His Holy Spirit to help and lead you through life (JOHN 14:15-18), for “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
Ephesians 1:13-14 NKJV
Therefore my beloved, just as Peter said to the house of Israel, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””
Acts 2:38-39 NKJV
Receive the promise my beloved, and it shall be extended to your children, and other family members, grandchildren, loved ones, and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
