Live in Reality

PSALM 73:20-24
“As a dream when one awakes, So, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind. I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭73:20-24‬ ‭NKJV‬

Asaph realized that the rich who put their hope, joy, and confidence in their wealth, live in a dream world of fantasies.
Whilst God speaks through dreams and visions, unrighteous fantasies only exists in the mind of the dreamer.
Don't let your lifes goals be so unreal that you wake up too late and miss the reality of God's truth.
Happiness and hope can be a reality, but only when they are based on God, and not riches.
Because reality is in God, we should stay as close to Him as we can in order to be realistic about life.
Asaph, declares his confidence in God's presence and guidance.
We are continually in God's grip from birth to death. But far more, we have the confident hope of the resurrection that takes us into eternity.
We believers know that one day, even though our courage and strength may fail, we will be raised to life to serve God forever.
Jesus is our security; He gives us His peace regardless of circumstance today, tomorrow, and a forever as we walk into His future that is perfect, holy, and eternal.
My brethren, we must push aside all ungodly fantasies and unrealistic dreams and cling to Jesus, His truth, and our trust must be in Him alone.
We can’t have everything that we desire, we have to accept our lot and live in it.
But we can have Jesus, and with Him, with nothing at all, we are more than millionaires.
You don’t need those parents who abused and abandoned you, nor the spouse who left you, nor any other person or object, for fullness in life comes from Him alone.
A lottery win may feel good, but it cannot buy your eternal future; it’s “feel good” affect is temporary.
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NKJV‬
Having said that, God given dreams and visions speak to us useful messages, and however bizarre they may seem, we must gain discernment and walk in them.
Therefore, don’t simply shut down your God given imagination, for all things are possible with God (MATHEW 19:26; LUKE 18:27).
When we use our imagination to plant godly seeds in the spiritual realms, those things that one believes on shall manifest in the physical realm.
In the same way, when we find the spiritual source of our troubles, we can rebuke them and bring positive change.
My beloved, when we “submit to God. Resist the devil, he will flee from us (JAMES 4:7).”
As I told you before, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬
Declare this psalm over your life to the Lord from your heart in truth and receive the blessing of life. He will guide with His Council, and afterward receive you to glory :
“Truly God is good to Israel, To such as are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no pangs in their death, But their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men, Nor are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride serves as their necklace; Violence covers them like a garment. Their eyes bulge with abundance; They have more than heart could wish. They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; They speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue walks through the earth. Therefore his people return here, And waters of a full cup are drained by them. And they say, “How does God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?” Behold, these are the ungodly, Who are always at ease; They increase in riches. Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain, And washed my hands in innocence. For all day long I have been plagued, And chastened every morning. If I had said, “I will speak thus,” Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children. When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me— Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awakes, So, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind. I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry. But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭73‬:‭1‬-‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
