God Is True & Faithful
DEUTERONOMY 7:9-11
““Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them.”

Here, the Word tells us that God is completely faithful to keep His promises and love His people for generations, but He also punishes those who reject Him.
God is the true and faithful God. He keeps His agreement and shows steady love for a thousand generations to people who love Him and obey His rules.
God pays back those who hate Him right to their face and destroys them. He does not delay or ignore those who turn against Him.
Because God is both loving and just, the people must carefully obey all the commands, rules, and laws given to them on that day.
God’s love lasts a very long time (a thousand generations) for people who stay loyal to Him.
But evil and hatred toward God face certain, direct punishment.
Knowing who God is means the people must live by His rules every day.
Today, believers are no longer under the Law, but under God’s grace.
That doesn’t mean we believers can do anything we like-there will always be consequences for our actions, both good and evil. But rather, we believers must walk in leading of the Holy Spirit (GALATIANS 5:16-23) to serve our Lord and Master.
“”Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.”
