I Will Trust And Not Be Afraid. The Lord, The Lord Himself Is My Strength And My Defence
Surely The Lord Is My Salvation
ISAIAH 12:1-2
“And in that day you will say: “O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ””
Isaiah 12:1-2 NKJV

This chapter is a hymn of praise and a powerful prophetic description of the joy which will fill people’s hearts when Jesus Christ comes to reign over the earth.
Today we believers need to express our gratitude to God, giving thanks and praise Him beyond all measure and tell others about the treasure we have found in Him (MATHEW 13:44).
I encourage you, whatever trials and challenges you are facing today, God had already gone before you to make a way. He has already given you the ultimate victory.
As Isaiah told us, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
The truth is, you already have the victory through Christ who is your strength (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
Things may not pan out quite as you want or expected, but God’s plans and purposes will always prosper.
He causes all things to work together for those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28), including your impossible situation that you are facing today.
My beloved, this earth has become a scary place to live.
Of late we are facing wars and threats of wars. Our financial systems are collapsing, as are our health systems, and as world war looms over us and moral standards are diminishing all over the world, we all know these things cannot continue much longer.
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
The devil came to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, your relationships, careers, and your eternal future.
Knowing that his time is short, he is frustrated and determined to cause as much pain as he possibly can before he is thrown into the abyss (REVELATION 20:1-3).
But the truth is, you who stand firmly on the promises of God, “In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. “Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
Isaiah 54:14-17 NKJV
Therefore, do not allow the devil to open doors to fear in your life, bring anxieties and depression, sickness, and misery. He may bring all kinds of troubles upon your life as this world becomes a darker and more difficult place to live, but Jesus is the author and the finisher (HEBREWS 12:2), and He has given us the victory through Christ who is our strength (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:1-5 NKJV
Jesus gives us joy in the chaos of this fallen world, which is our strength NEHEMIAH (8:10).
He gives us peace where there’s no peace through it all, but we must stand upon His promises.
The devil shall whisper into our emotions our faults and failures, and negative outcomes. He will continually bring temptations to pull you back into sin, and will do everything he can and constantly remind you of your sinful past to convince you that your not good enough, that your sin is too great to be forgiven.
My beloved, to suggest that one’s sin is greater than Jesus is an insult to Him.
Jesus blood covers all the sin, nothing is too great for Him.
Jesus has no equal, nor rival, and His name is above every other name and He shall reign forever.
Therefore, when the devil comes to remind you of your sinful past, remind him of his dark future and the burning lake of fire, and remind yourself that you have be chosen by God, justified by His blood, and that your sin is forgiven, and your name is written in the book of life (REVELATION 3:5).
My beloved, shut down your negativity, shut down those lies being pushed by fear and frustration, and stand firmly on God’s promises, for you already have the victory in all things.
My beloved, take Paul’s advice; “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:4-7 NKJV
Jesus came to give you life, and that you may have it more abundantly.
“”Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:31-34 NKJV
My brethren , whatever your troubles of today or indeed the darkness we face tomorrow, put your trust in God; you are safe in His hands.
“And in that day you will say: “O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ” Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. And in that day you will say: “Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!””
Isaiah 12:1-6 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever Amen.
