Kindness To The Poor Is A Loan To The Lord, And He Will Give A Reward To The Lender
We Are Called To Give To The Needy, Not Subsidise The Greedy
PROVERBS 19:17
“He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, And He will pay back what he has given.
”Proverbs 19:17 NKJV

This proverb here teaches that helping those in need is essentially giving to God. Because the poor cannot repay you, God takes on the debt Himself and promises to reward your kindness, whether through a spiritual peace, physical blessings, or ultimate heavenly reward.
Giving to the vulnerable isn't "throwing money away." The Bible views charity as a guaranteed loan to the Creator of the universe.
God ensures the giver is rewarded. This aligns with New Testament teachings (e.g., Matthew 25:40) which equates serving the "least of these" with serving Christ directly.
Generosity is an act of care towards others, reflects a profound respect for human life, and is a reflection of God's loving character.
Giving is not only financial or food or clothing.
The best give we believers can give the needy is the truth of Jesus Christ. Every time you lead one unbeliever to the Lord, you raise him or her from the dead.
Giving is a part of Christian life, including sharing the financial burden of one’s church. But we must be wise-a fool and his money are quickly parted.
We are called to help the needy, but we are not called to subsidise the greedy.
Give by the leading of the Holy Spirit in you.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
