Matthew tells us that loving God completely with your whole being is the absolute highest priority and foundation of faith.
Jesus says, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
God does not want a small part of your time or attention; He asks for your entire self without holding anything back.
These words do not describe separate body parts. Instead, they show the full scope of a person—your deepest emotions (heart), your life and spiritual core (soul), and your thoughts and intellect (mind).
When asked what matters most in the law of God, Jesus pointed away from strict religious routines and toward an active, loving relationship with Him.
Jesus is quoting the ancient Hebrew prayer from Deuteronomy 6:5, reminding listeners of Israel's core identity.
In the very next verse (Matthew 22:39), Jesus adds a second command to love your neighbor as yourself, explaining that true love for God naturally flows into how we treat people around us.
Love is more than a feeling or an emotion; it is a decision and a duty of care toward all people.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
