Love Your Neighbor As Yourself

GALATIANS 5:14
“For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

The Apostle Paul tells us that instead of trying to follow strict religious rules to please God, a Christian's entire moral duty is completed through genuine, selfless love for other people.
Paul writes to believers who have been set free from the legal rules of the old religious system. He warns them not to use this new freedom as an excuse to do wrong or be selfish. Instead, freedom means having the power to serve one another through love.
The moral intent behind all of God's commands is centered on how we treat people. Just as people naturally care for their own safety and happiness, they should care for their neighbours the same way.
Real love is more than a feeling, it is a decision and a duty of care toward others, and stops harmful fighting and replaces it with kindness, patience, and practical help.

Love is the very foundation of God’s way of life and as Jesus told us Himself, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.””
