Proverbs 17:17 tells us that true friends and family show real, steady love during both good days and hard times. It says, "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity."
A real friend does not leave when life gets hard. Their care stays the same every day.
Fake friends only stay when things are good. True friends stay close through mistakes and storms.
A brother or family member is meant to step up and help when things get difficult.
Tough moments show who will stand by your side and support you.
But the question we must all ask ourselves is, am I a true friend to others-can they really rely on me as they go through their storms?
