The Lord Of Host Is With Us

PSALM 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬

"Be Still" (Rafa) is as the original Hebrew word raphah which means “slackening," "let go," "drop," or "cease striving". It is less of a gentle suggestion to relax and more of a command to drop your weapons, stop fighting your own battles, and stop trying to control the uncontrollable. The instruction here is to hand over all your trials, challenges, and battles, to the Most High.
The words “Know that I am God" instructs us to recognise, acknowledge, and submit to God’s supreme power, sovereignty, and active presence, and to trust Him, rather than relying on human strength or panic.
The words "I will be Exalted among the nations", reminds believers that God has the final word over global chaos, wars, and earthly turmoil.

The psalm does not open in a peaceful garden; it describes mountains falling into the sea, roaring waters, and nations raging.
When life feels unstable, human instinct is to overthink, hustle, and grip tighter. Psalm 46:10 interrupts that panic with a direct call to surrender to the outcome of God, for "The Lord of host is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Palm 46:11 NKJV

The time is to surrender and put our trust in Him.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
