Whoever Claims To Live In Him Must Live As Jesus Did

1 JOHN 2:6
“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
”I John 2:6 NKJV

This verse connects empty claims of faith with authentic daily living. It is abiding in Christ and to “live in Him", which means to have a genuine, ongoing, and close relationship with Jesus Christ.
In biblical terms, to "walk" means to live your life—making everyday choices, conducting business, and treating people correctly in alignment with God’s plans and purposes for your life.
Your daily life should actively reflect the love, righteousness, and humility that Jesus modeled. It isn’t about just talking faith; it requires your actions to match your words.
My beloved, God does not want your empty words of worship-your garments are not enough.
““Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.”
Joel 2:12-13 NKJV
My beloved, we cannot continue in rebellion and idolatry, for you shall say, “With what shall I come before the Lord, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, Ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”
Micah 6:6-8 NKJV
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
