Put On The Full Armor Of God, So That You Can Stand Against The Devil's Schemes
We Are Not Fighting Flesh & Blood
EPHESIANS 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
NKJV
Ephesians 6:11 tells us that believers must actively rely on God's spiritual strength and truth to resist the demonic assignments and the hidden tricks and temptations of the devil.
It says “put on” which is an active choice. Christians must intentionally equip themselves 24/7 day and night.
The whole armour of God refers to spiritual qualities provided by God, such as truth, righteousness, faith, and salvation, rather than physical weapons.
The goal is not to attack, but to stand firm, hold your ground and remain steadfast against pressure.
The devil uses cunning deception, subtle traps, and lies rather than open warfare.
Life involves a hidden, spiritual struggle against forces of evil rather than just human conflicts. The outcome of our spiritual battles has great influence over our physical lives, in fact, our troubles are spiritually sourced, which I why when we fight, we are encouraged to fight on our knees.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places

The word "wrestle" suggest that our battles against such entities shall be ongoing.
People in their own strength are too weak to fight these demonic forces, and stand firm against the temptations and deceptions on their own; they need God's help and protection.
Having said that, God gave us Spirit filled believers authority over such demons and evil spirits (LUKE 10:17).
Sin brings us in agreement with the demonic and gives the them authority to attack our lives and and enter our flesh like squatters. But heart felt repentance removes their authority and the believer shall be set free (JOHN 8:33-36).
But like squatters, they don’t just pack up and go, they have to be taken before the courts of heaven and commanded out.
James put it like this, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:7-10 NKJV
But Jesus’ warned us, that once we are set free, we must actively fight to remain free, because ““When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.””
Matthew 12:43-45 NKJV
