Above All Love Deeply
It's Time To Desire The New
1 PETER 4:7-9
“But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.”
I Peter 4:7-9 NKJV

My beloved, as we look around the world we see turmoil-lawlessness, poverty, unrest, pestilence, corruption, war, and our financial systems are collapsing, as is our health care, and people are losing their jobs and businesses.
Churches have become complicit with world standards and are now being shut down world wide.
Furthermore, we are heading toward a time when people will be pushed into accepting micro-chipping with the threat that we will not be able to go into public places or trade unless we accept this level of control (see REVELATION 13:26-18).
Their are many false prophets and teachers on platforms like YouTube and much of the news media are using propaganda and fear to push these evil agendas.
Therefore, we must test and approve everything we hear through the Holy Spirit.
Furthermore, we are experiencing ever increasing severe weather systems. These are all significant signs that our Lord Jesus Christ is to return very soon, and we believers need to stand firm on God’s word and be ready.
Peter tells us to take this seriously, to be watchful in our prayers and to have fervent love for one another-love of passionate intensity, that we are fully prepared for the fast approaching return of Jesus Christ.
Love is the very foundation of God’s law and way of life.
Love is more than words, emotions, or feelings. It is a choice and an action that comes from the desire to help and care for one another, without the expectation of something in return.
Love is a weapon of mass destruction against the real enemy, Satan, and it’s our love for one another that will keep peace and unity throughout the church, for love covers a multitude of sins and empowers us to forgive.
Jesus said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.””
Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV
Not only must we love God, we must love one another and all our neighbours around the world, including our enemies. That is to care and reach out to help those in need, even our enemies.
Jesus told us, ““You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Matthew 5:43-48 NKJV
Love is the very foundation of God’s Law and way of life, and all the Law and the prophets hang on these great commandments (MATHEW 22:37-40; MARK 12:30-31).
My beloved, we must be ready for Jesus return by being grounded in the love of Christ, and being serious and watchful in our prayers.
Loving our brothers and sisters in Christ is not gossiping about them, or speaking negatively about them or controlling them with religion.
But rather, praying for them, encouraging them and bringing loving discipline when needed. It is being there for them in their hour of need.
It is very apparent that the old man’s church, put together by the likes of the Pharisees is systematically being shut down, though some are holding on.
God used the old church for over two thousand years, but today it is collapsing.
Many fail to grasp that Christ Himself is dismantling the old to make way for the new, and continue to cry out to God for help.
“Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.””
John 2:19 NKJV
They are not ready to embrace the new wine, the freedom and new powers that Jesus has kept back for such a time as this.
But today, the new wine is here, as in the first miracle, Jesus saved the best until last (JOHN 2:1-10).
But “He spoke a parable to them: “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ””
Luke 5:36-39 NKJV
My beloved it is time to desire the new, for He saved the best until last.
He said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
John 14:12-14 NKJV
The truth is those who embrace the new shall do mighty things in Christ, “even greater than I,” Jesus said. But if it’s not Christ five fold ministry, it will prophet you nothing.
Jesus way is the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6), “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
My beloved, we must place ourselves firmly in God’s Kingdom, for we cannot walk with one foot in God’s Kingdom and the other in the world.
Therefore, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
II Corinthians 6:14-18 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
