Be Free, But Do Not Use Your Freedom To Indulge In The Flesh. Serve One Another Humbly In Love
You Are Not Free To Do What You Like
GALATIANS 5:13
“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
”Galatians 5:13 NKJV

In this verse, the apostle Paul teaches that Christian freedom is not a license for selfish living, but an invitation to actively serve God and humbly love others.
Paul reminds believers they have been liberated from the burdens of sin, the guilt of the past, and the strict demands of the Old Testament Law."
The flesh" refers to the old, self-centered human nature. Paul warns against the trap of using this new freedom as an excuse to do whatever feels good in the moment without considering the consequences.
True Christian freedom is re-directed energy. Rather than using our liberty to focus on ourselves, we are meant to channel that freedom into outward, selfless service to God and our neighbours.
The Core Principle that Paul argues is the ultimate goal of the Law—to live a righteous life that is actually achieved through this lifestyle of love. He summarizes this in the very next verse by quoting the command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
Love is the foundation of Jesus way of life. He said, “”You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.””
Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV
The truth is, if we people made every effort to obey these two great commandments, this world would very quickly become a better place to live.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
