Jesus Christ Is The Messiah
JOHN 8:12-14
“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” The Pharisees therefore said to Him, “You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true.” Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going.

Here, Jesus made His claim that He is the Messiah, that He is God in human form.
Isaiah Prophesied the coming of the Messiah in the Old Testament, “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV
John confirmed that Jesus Christ is Lord, that He always has been, and that He is the light of the world (JOHN 1:1-5). Furthermore, it is written by Jesus Christ Himself, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.””

There is no question or doubt of the deity of Jesus Christ, the Messiah who came to pay the debt of the world on a cross, and was on the third day risen. My beloved, being witnessed by over five hundred people at the time, this is not disputable. Even the Quran recognised Jesus as the Messiah (003:045)
Paul said, “Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.”

But my beloved, what does it mean exactly, to follow Christ?
As soldiers follow their captain, we believers should follow Christ, He is our leader, commander, and the authority above all other authority (MATHEW 28:18).
As a slave follows his master, so we should follow Jesus; we should look at Him as our example of how to live.
More than we follow the advice of a trusted councillor, so we should follow Jesus' commands to us in Scripture.
More than we follow the laws of our nation, so we should follow the laws of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Regular worship and study of the Bible is vital if we are going to be able to do that.
If we are going to consider ourselves as "Children of God" we must act like children of God putting into practice everything we see and learn from Jesus.
If you are living right with God, you shall be happy to walk in the light for you have nothing to hide. But if you are continuing to live in sin, you shall remain in the dark to hide your wicked ways.
The Pharisees thought Jesus was some kind of crazy liar or lunatic, but He provoked them with another alternative: "He was telling the truth." Because most Pharisees refused to consider that Jesus was telling the truth, they closed their minds to that idea, and as a result, they never recognised Him as the Messiah.
If you are seeking to know who Jesus Christ really is, do not close any door before looking through it honestly. Only with an open mind will you know the truth that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, our Lord and Saviour.
The light of Jesus exposes all truth, for He is the light of man (JOHN 1:4). “And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

Today’s world is a world of proper gander and lies. Many corrupt leaders and much of the media tells the people what they want them to hear; they drive their fake news to put into place their evil schemes that holds the people in bondage and captivity.
But those who are truly in Christ can see through the lies because Jesus is the light that reveals the truth. It is the truth that shall set them free.
Jesus said, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.””
John 8:31-32 NKJV
Free to live for Christ and receive the blessing of everlasting life (REVELATION 21:3-4).
