The Greek word Theopneustos literally means God exhaled or breathed out the words. Just as human speech comes out on our breath, Scripture originates directly from the breath and mind of God.
Because God is the ultimate author, the Bible carries His authority, truth, and trustworthiness rather than just being a collection of wise human philosophies.
Paul tells us what is true. It reveals who God is, who we are, and how the world works.
He tells us when we are wrong. It exposes sin, errors in thinking, or behavior that strays from God's path.
The Scripture shows us how to get back on the right path. It doesn't just point out a mistake; it provides the straight path forward.
It keeps us walking in the right direction. Like an athlete training a muscle, Scripture builds long-term moral habits and godliness over time.
The goal of studying and obeying Scripture isn't just accumulating religious facts; it brings spiritual maturity and in Gods individual timing, revelation and understanding.
It ensures that a person of God is fully supplied, armed, and ready for whatever moral or practical challenges life and ministry bring.
In context, the Apostle Paul wrote this as a personal and urgent letter to Timothy, a young pastor and his close mentee in the faith.
Paul was nearing the end of his life and was warning Timothy about difficult times, moral decay, and false teachers ahead (2 Timothy 3:1–9).
His solution to external chaos and false teaching isn't political power or human charisma, but a deep, unshakeable anchor in God’s written Word.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
