It Is The Lord's Purpose That Prevails

God's Way Or My Way?

PROVERBS 19:21
“There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand.
”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭NKJV‬

When a new shopping complex is being planned, the counsel have a meeting to discuss what it should look like, discuss parking, routes in, traffic, recreation, and everything that should be in it such as shops, restaurants, quiet area’s and so on.
Once the council have agreed, and the plans are drawn up the building work starts. Yet often human plans for one reason or another get changed through the process or never get completed.
The developers run out of money, or people complain it will damage the environment and so on.
The planning was far from perfect, and the developer never accurately considered the cost.
However, when God’s counsel came together to plan His creation, that is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, they covered everything including sin.
God’s plan was perfect from the beginning and will remain perfect forever. Furthermore, nothing can stop God’s plans from coming to pass. He is above all (JOHN 3:31), and “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭33:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Is their anyone who thinks he can stop the One who breathed out the stars from His breath?
Whatever God has planned for us will come to pass.
As we study our bibles, we see prophecy turn into history as every prophecy comes to pass.
Nothing can stop God’s plan for you accept yourself, for He gave you free will to choose.
You can choose His plans and purposes for you which leads to eternal life with God or not.
Yet regardless of your choice today, “He makes every provision, “that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭45‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
He gifted you for a worldly career because we all need to earn to eat (2 THESSALONIANS 3:10), and He gifted you to serve Him, “for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:8-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Our Almighty God gifted us with purpose, but He also gave us free will.
We humans messed up, for from the very beginning, we fell into sin. But thank God for Jesus, for in God’s planning meeting, I imagine their conversation, “what if these humans commit sin? You know Lucifer will tempt them and be kicked out of heaven. He will then go to earth to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (JOHN 10:10).
“I know,” replies Jesus, but I have a structured plan that is perfect.
“I will go to earth being born of a virgin, and live as a human to start the work of defeating the devil.
He can’t tempt Me; and then I will die on a cross to pay the debt of sin that our people may live forever as planned.
Then the Holy Spirit said, “Once you have defeated death and been resurrected, and return to heaven, I will go to live in our sons and daughters to lead, teach, and guide them through their lives and keep them safe.
I will guarantee their salvation to all those who believe in Christ Jesus (2 CORINTHIANS 1:22; EPHESIANS 1:14).”
Nothing can stop God’s plans. He did not under estimate the cost, He thought of absolute everything. He won’t change what is perfect. And no one or anything can stop Him; He has no equal, no rival, and He shall reign forever!
Jesus did His part to save you-to give you life, and to give it more abundantly (JOHN 10:10).
He said, “it is finished (JOHN 19:28-30).
For He did everything possible to redeem you, even died for you. But that opportunity of life everlasting will pass and many will perish. For as the Lord said through His prophet, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Salvation is gift from God. It cannot be purchased and doesn’t rely on health, wealth, or status, or any kind of religious acts.
It’s not a complicated process, just simply to believe on Christ Jesus, commit to Him, and submit to His plans and purposes that all comes naturally through relationship with Him.
Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, many believe in many ways to salvation. They believe in many gods and that “good people” wouldn’t be sent to hell. But God is a God of justice, and while one is saved by grace alone, grace does not override justice. If it did, Jesus would of not needed to die for His people.
No other religion or faith deals with the problem of sin, except Jesus. He is the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6), for He alone justified your new life in Christ on a cross and then was risen.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭8‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
