"For I Know The Plans I Have For You," They Are Plans For Good And Not For Disaster, To Give You A Future And A Hope
Be Free From Captivity
JEREMIAH 29:11-14
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.”
Jeremiah 29:11-14 NKJV

Even though His people were captive in Babylon, God did not forget them. He had a wonderful plan to give them a new beginning and new purpose.
Today, the battle is no longer so much with people, but the demonic forces controlling them, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
Therefore, many are held captive by the devil from within and are demonised (possessed).
Sin let them in, not just by their own sin, but even the sin of their ancestors.
But like in days, past, God wants to deliver us from the evil one (MATHEW 6:13).
In times of dire circumstances it may feel like God has forgotten you. But the truth is, He sent His only begotten Son to die for all, to give each and every one of us a new beginning and purpose; He forgets no one, and that includes you, even if it was your own foolishness or sin that brought about your circumstance.
Maybe your life is going round and round to the same old troubles; relationship issues, financial issues, poor health, anxiety, depression, addiction, insomnia, and so on, but I am here to tell you today that Jesus loves you and He wants to deliver you from your life of torment. He wants to give you a new start, a purposeful future, and a hope.
The Good News is, we Spirit filled believers have authority to expel these demons and be free. (LUKE 10:17).
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
James said, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:7-10 NKJV
To resist the devil is to rebuke, to call him out and send him packing.
My beloved, call upon the name of the Lord, apply His spilled blood to your life and He will listen to you; He will make a way where there seems to be no way, and peace, hope, and contentment will become a reality in your life, not temporarily, but eternally, and the joy in the Lord shall be your strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
He came that you have life and that you might have abundantly.
But “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:1-5 NKJV
Furthermore, the peace that God gives us surpasses all understanding, and it shall guard you heart and mind through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:7).
God never stops working; He uses our dire circumstances for good (ROMANS 8:28), maybe in preparation for a new start, as He did for the people of Judah-for a new beginning and purpose with Him at the centre.
According to God’s plan, His people were to have a future and a hope, consequently, they could call upon Him in confidence.
Regardless of the difficult times, the exiles had no need to despair because they had God’s presence, the privilege of prayer, and Gods grace.
The truth is, whoever seeks Him wholeheartedly will find. Jesus said, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV
Neither a strange land, sorrow, persecution, nor indeed, any physical problem or circumstance can separate us from the love of God (ROMANS 8:38-39). He wants to help you; seek, and you shall find, knock, and it will be opened for you.
My brethren, for the glory of our Father in heaven, “Ask anything in Jesus name and it will be given (JOHN 14:13-15).
He has a wonderful plan for Your life, a plan for good not disaster, a plan to give you a future and a hope.
Trust the plan! Put all your trust in the Lord, make Him Your future and your hope, “And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
Joel 2:32 NKJV
I say it again, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
