Therefore Everyone Who Hears These Words Of Mine And Puts Them Into Practice Is Like A Wise Man Who Built His House On The Rock
Make Jesus The Foundation Of Your Faith
MATHEW 7:24
““Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
”Matthew 7:24 NKJV

Matthew 7:24 is the opening verse of the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders, which concludes Jesus’ sermon on the mount
The word connects this parable back to everything Jesus just taught in Matthew chapters 5 through 7 (including the Beatitudes, loving your enemies, humility, and seeking God's kingdom).
He draws a sharp line between merely listening to religious truth and actively obeying it. Both the wise man and the foolish man hear the words; the difference is transformation and action.
Building on the rock rather than sand, means anchoring your life, character, and choices to the authority and person of Jesus Christ. Building on sand means treating Jesus’ teachings as optional advice or relying on superficial religion.
In the continuation of the parable (verses 25–27), both houses, the one on the rock and the one on the sand, face the exact same severe weather (rain, floods, and winds). Following Jesus does not exempt a person from life's trials, grief, or pressure.
Outwardly, the two houses may look identical until the crisis hits. A life built on active obedience stands firm, while a life built on passive listening collapses.
True faith is measured by how Jesus's words shape daily habits, integrity, forgiveness, and choices when no one is watching.
We must ask ourselves, are we truly putting putting Jesus' Words into practise-did we hear His Words at all?
Those who hear Jesus Words and does them, He will liken them to a wise man who built His on the Rock.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
