Keep Your Thoughts On Wharever Is True, Pure, Right, Holy, Friendly, & Proper
Fix Your Thoughts On Jesus
PHILIPPIANS 4:8
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Here, the Apostle Paul instructs believers on how to guard their minds.
He wrote the letter to the Philippians from prison, yet the book is remarkably joyful and focused on peace. Right before this verse (Philippians 4:4–7), Paul tells the church not to be anxious, but to bring their worries to God in prayer, and promises that God's peace will guard their hearts and minds. Philippians 4:8 comes next as an active mental discipline—what to do with your thoughts once prayer replaces panic.
Therefore, focus on true reality that aligns with God's truth and facts, rather than rumors, paranoia, or lies.
The devil is good at whispering negativity into our minds through our emotions, but we are to take those thoughts captive and bring them to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Focus on things that are dignified, serious, and worthy of respect rather than cheap or cynical.
Walk in that what is fair, righteous, and morally upright and what is clean, uncorrupted, and morally undefiled.
Set your minds on that which inspires affection, peace, and harmony rather than hostility or bitterness.
Focus your thoughts on what is commendable (or of Good Report), that what is well-spoken-of, kind, and constructive (the opposite of destructive gossip).
Walk in excellence-virtue or moral goodness in action and anything that naturally prompts gratitude and points back to God's goodness.
This isn't empty, toxic positivity or pretending hard things don't exist. It is a conscious, deliberate choice to direct your focus.
We can apply this verse to what we consume, such as news, social media, entertainment, and conversations, asking whether it builds up or tears down the soul.
The goal isn't just mental gymnastics; it's training the mind to dwell on the character of Jesus Christ, who embodies every one of these traits.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
